Motez is a name growing quite popular in the electronic music scene; especially in the last few years! Being born in Baghdad, Motez decided on a sea change to Australia in 2006 that has without doubt, sent his success into a positive spiral of events!
It was after his move to the other big dry land ‘down under’ that he decided to produce under his real name, Motez. From this point his sound took a dirtier and much groovier edge, with some tracks boasting a harder element to them.
Motez is a very busy lad in the studio though, knocking out some further successful tracks and getting signed to labels left, right and centre! He has recently enjoyed success with his remix of Miami Husslers “Wolves on Acid” which was released through Plasmapool and gained a lot of respect from the label’s owner, plus world class producer Miles Dyson.
Motez worked closely with Sk8ters (France) for the new original release “A Trick or Two” through Loudroom Recordings that included remixes from Nick Supply, Jackinori and Frederik Mooij. There is also another remix were he is featured in Frederik Mooij’s remix album, which received much support from dj’s from all around the globe.
